Sunday, September 20: Fall Harvest Festival, West Side Hungarian Reformed Church. 12 to 8 PM. 6 PM - Csárdás Dance Company performs. Live Music by Bela Czirjak from 2 PM. Regos dancers 3pm. Menu: Fisherman`s Soup, Gulyas Soup, Stuffed Cabbage, Breaded Chicken, Chicken Paprikash, Pork Steak, Elephant Ear etc. The largest variety of ethnic dishes of the year! Monday, July 23 - Sunday, August 5, 2007:Csárdás Youth Ensemble
partake of Csillagszemű (Starry Eyed) Dance Camp located near the shores
of beautiful Lake Balaton. The dance camp is directed by
Sándor Timár, Founder and Director of
Timár Folklor.
Timár was the director of the
legendary
Bartók Ensemble of the 1970s, and later the Artistic Director
of the critically acclaimed Hungarian State Folk Ensemble in Budapest
for fifteen years. Csárdás Dance Company Founder, Richard Graber, has
collaborated with
Timár to produce choreographies for the ensemble which
has also included performances in Hungary on three occasions. See
