Founder, Richard Graber, Relocates to Texas --
Csárdás Dance Company Continues!

Founder of Csárdás Dance Company, Richard Graber, departed Cleveland for new opportunities in Houston, Texas at the end of July, along with Artistic Director, Christopher Smith. Richard accepted a position as a Grants Specialist with the AIDS Foundation Houston, Inc. (AFH). The arts community, friends and collegues were stunned with his decision. However, Richard stated to dancers of Csárdás, "I welcome new opportunities where my skills, talents and creative vision can be utilized further." He also went on to encourage them with these words "I hope you continue to strive to find those outlets for you and your loved one's so you can continue to be immersed in creative experiences that enhance lives."

With those words in mind, Csárdás Dance Company will continue to bring the joy of Hungarian dance to Cleveland and beyond. Toni Gras, Board President for the company, has accepted the position of Managing Director of Csárdás. Toni has been involved with the company for 7 years and has been Board President for 4 years. Her daughter, Courtney, has danced with Csárdás Youth Ensemble for 7 years. Toni is delighted to accept this position and considers it an honor to continue the vision which Richard Graber started more then a dozen years ago.

In addition, Csárdás is delighted to welcome new dance instructors, Stuart Meyer, Judith Horvath and Nicole Cafera, all dancers with Csárdás Dance Company. In addition, Richard Graber plans on facilitating occasional workshops for the dance company. To read the Press Releases on these events, please visit:
